Not surprisingly, 9 hours into the race, the field is spreading out with a decent gaps among the top teams, and a similar one to where the biggest race is happening - the middle pack racers! There are a large number of teams all fairly close together on the race course north and east of Nora Lake.
As we head into the night, we'll see a lot of changes in positions, with some teams nailing the nav and keeping their pace up, and others who struggle a bit with one or both. We'll be doing some serious dot watching through the dark hours.
