Taking into account how everyone is feeling, any challenges or things that worked well on the last section will be important parts in the decision making. Often the biggest pieces is how the nav went and picking a route you think will minimize your risk of going off course - weighing direct routes with routes that give you good navigational 'handrails' (i.e., things that you can rely on to know where you are).
